One of the biggest scams around involves the marketing of foods. Marketing strategies claim that certain foods are healthier than others, when in reality they are the exact opposite. There are FIVE key products that are examples of this marketing scheme trying to trick the consumer into buying a product that is disguised as a health food.

 

Here are the FIVE biggest health imposters:  

Gatorade/vitamin water

These drinks that we are told can help us on a nutritional level, as well as replenishing us after exercising are essentially just sugar and water with a "healthy" label.  There is no actual evidence that suggests these drinks offer vitamins that we need. So when it comes to exercising and looking for a healthy liquid to replenish your fluids? It's best to just stick with good ole H2O.
